A trip to the AR State Fair
Oct. 15th, 2006 06:31 pmI got a nifty call Friday morning from the Arkansas Outdoor Photography Club concerning my entry into their contest during the fair. Seems the pic below was selected for 3rd place.
None of my other entries for the photography placed but my Hot Pepper and Onion Relish took a Second place in its category. The Peach Jam did not place and after I opened a jar yesterday could see why - think I cooked it a tad too long and I should have made it much earlier to give the vanilla and peaches time to really set their flavors. Oh, well.
